Fertile Grounds Farm: Install a U Forage Food Forest

In this 2- day workshop participants will learn the principles and techniques for establishing their own food forest by installing part of a forest garden at the Fertile Grounds CSA.

Forest gardens are  one of the worlds oldest and most resilient agroecosystems. They mimic woodlands by incorporating  trees, shrubs, herbs, vines and perennial vegetables to provide food, fiber, fodder, fuel, fertilizer, “farmaceuticals”, and fun!
